About Dan Beatty
Construction credibility, earned from the field forward
Dan understands both halves of project performance: building the number and leading the people who have to hit it.

Founder and principal consultant
He learned the business in the order the work demanded.
Dan began in heavy civil construction in 1984 as a geotechnical technician running density and concrete tests. He moved into estimating, then project management, then executive leadership.
Across those roles, he saw the same pattern repeatedly: technical knowledge can build a strong plan, but leadership determines whether people share the right information, address problems early and execute together.
Career sequence
Field testing. Estimating. Project management. Executive leadership.
That sequence gives Dan the range to speak credibly with the field, the office and the people accountable for the whole business.
Industry service
Trusted by construction organizations
AGC Edge instructor
Approved to deliver AGC of America’s established national curricula.
AGC of Virginia volunteer instructor

VTCA leadership series facilitator
Programs designed for the next generation of construction leadership.
A room of builders can tell when the person teaching them understands the work.
Dan’s goal is simple: help people see the leadership pattern clearly enough to do something useful with it on the next job, in the next meeting or during the next hard conversation.
